LOOK3 will also present a myriad of other artists during the Master Talks lectures and the Shots and Works outdoor projection events.
Hank Willis Thomas will present work at LOOK3. Thomas was featured in 25 and Under: Photographers which was published by the Center for Documentary Studies. Two former Lange-Taylor Prize winners will also be in attendance at LOOK3. 1997 prize winner Ernesto Bazan will teach a master class in project editing. 1999 prize winner Jason Eskenazi will also present work at the festival.
First announced a year after the Center’s founding at Duke University, the Lange-Taylor Prize was created to encourage collaboration between documentary writers and photographers in the tradition of the acclaimed photographer Dorothea Lange and writer and social scientist Paul Taylor.
