November 5: Duke Visiting Artist Nate Larson to Speak at CDS

“Worth The Wait,” from Larson’s ongoing photography series, “Geolocation”

This fall, the David M. Rubenstein Rare Book & Manuscript Library will welcome Nate Larson—a contemporary artist working with photographic media, artist books and digital video—as the second Barbaralee Diamonstein-Spielvogel Visiting Artist. The program allows an artist to study and engage with archival, manuscript, and other special collections in support of developing a new body of creative work.

During his October 26 to November 22 residency, Larson will be available to meet with scholars, students, and staff from across the academic disciplines at Duke and will offer a talk that is free and open to the public:

Artist’s Talk and Reception with Nate Larson
Thursday, November 5, 6:00 p.m.
