“Grow All Over Again” Screening September 10 at LIGHT: ART + DESIGN Gallery in Chapel Hill

Join us on September 10 at LIGHT: ART + DESIGN Gallery in Chapel Hill to view a decade of work by UNC-Chapel Hill Professor of Fine Art, Kimowan Metchewais, and to meet Christina Wegs, 2008–2009 Lewis Hine Documentary Fellow with the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University. Christina will present and discuss her short film, Grow All Over Again, in which Kimowan reflects on healing, identity, and his art-making process following a brain surgery that paralyzed the left side of his body. Christina created Grow All Over Again as a Continuing Education student at CDS in 2007–2008.
