Alexa Dilworth, CDS’s Director of Publishing and Awards, will participate in Review Santa Fe, the premier juried portfolio review event in the world. Up to a hundred photographers are selected to meet with some of today’s most relevant and esteemed curators, editors, publishers, gallerists and others interested in new work. Dilworth will review portfolios with an interest in meeting photographers who have been working on a large body of work that has potential for publication as a book. She is the editor of CDS Books and runs the biennial Center for Documentary Studies/Honickman First Book Prize in Photography competition (which will be accepting entries from June 15 to September 15, 2012; see firstbookprizephoto.com for more information).

Review Santa Fe will be held this year from May 31 to June 3, a weekend dedicated to portfolio reviews, networking, and creative inspiration. The event is a program of CENTER, a nonprofit that supports, promotes, and provides opportunities to gifted and committed photographers.

The application deadline is January 30, 2012. Click here for more information, and to apply.
